Rhonda Sullivan- Ford, M.D., FACOG is a founding partner at Lakeland Premier Women’s Clinic and is Board Certified by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology. Dr. Sullivan-Ford is a Fellow in the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists. For over 22 years, Dr. Sullivan-Ford has practiced OB/GYN in a private practice setting. Dr. Sullivan-Ford has had the privilege to serve on several committees, that include the Infectious Disease Committee, Quality Control Committee and the Operating Room Committee and more. Dr. Sullivan-Ford is a member of the American Medical Association, Central Mississippi Medical Society, Mississippi Surgical Association, and the Jackson Gynesic Society.
Dr. Sullivan-Ford was born and raised in Hayti, Missouri. Dr. Sullivan-Ford completed medical school and residency in Obstetrics/Gynecology at the University of Tennessee. Dr. Sullivan-Ford has offered insight into the promotion of “Women’s Health” speaking throughout the southeast to women’s and youth groups through churches and schools. She is also a member of the Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority.
Dr. Sullivan-Ford is not only a physician, wife and mother, but is first and foremost a God-fearing woman who feels especially blessed to have become a medical doctor in the field of Obstetrics and Gynecology. She enjoys mentoring young ladies interested in the field of medicine. She is a physician who believes in taking care of the whole person not just physically, but emotionally and spiritually as well.
